It is primarily conducted by IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak, with some other institutes also accepting its scores.

Eligibility for IPMAT

Criteria Details
Education Qualification Candidates must have completed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or an equivalent exam from a recognized board.
Minimum Marks Requirement
  • General & OBC Candidates: Minimum 60% marks in 10th and 12th.
  • SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Minimum 55% marks in 10th and 12th.
Age Limit Candidates must be born on or after August 1, 2004 (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwD candidates).

IPMAT Exam Structure

Quantitative Ability (Short Answer) 15 40 Minutes
Verbal Ability (MCQ) 45 40 Minutes
Total 90 Questions 120 Minutes

Marking Scheme:

  • +4 for each correct answer
  • -1 for each incorrect answer (MCQs only, no negative marking
